Entrance & exit at night
Please inform yourself at the reception before going out.
Parking place
Please do not park your car on the sidewalk in front of the house! Parking spaces are available opposite the hotel. If they are all occupied, you are welcome to park in front of the garages or on our parking spaces in Breitscheidstraße. Please follow the signs P1 to P4.
"Please do not disturb"
After the room cleaning our house lady checks all rooms again, because we want to make sure that you always find a neat room. Sometimes this tour can be delayed until the afternoon. If you no longer wish to be disturbed, please put the "Please do not disturb" sign on the outside of the room door. If you are still missing something, simply contact the reception desk. If you should find a defect in your room, please let us know so that we can correct it as quickly as possible.
Safety instructions
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. Ironing, the use of heating pads, electric heaters or the burning of candles is forbidden in the rooms for fire safety reasons.
In the event of an accident, please contact the reception desk or call +49 (0) 36842 52990 at night.
In case of fire you will be warned by a loud siren via our fire alarm system. Leave the house via one of the staircases. The escape routes are marked.

You can find the hotel‘s swimming pool in the wellness area in the basement. The hotel pool is available from

Bed Linen
For stays of more than seven nights, we automatically change your bedding once a week. If you do not wish to have your bedding changed or would prefer an additional change, please let our front desk know. Thank you for helping us use resources sustainably.
Bicycle Garage
You can store your bicycles in our lockable bicycle garage. Charging stations for e-bikes are also available there. You can pick up a key at the front desk.
Blankets & Pillows
To ensure your individual sleeping comfort, we offer a variety of pillow types as well as additional blankets. We’d be happy to bring the right pillow or an extra blanket to your room upon request. Please contact our front desk.
Breakfast
We serve our extensive breakfast buffet daily from 7 am to 11 am. If you would like to have breakfast earlier, please let us know at reception the day before.

Departure

Deutsche Bahn

The coffee bar in our lobby is available for you to use free of charge from 7 am to 5 pm. Here you will find hot drinks such as tea, hot chocolate and speciality coffees.

Guest Card Oberhof
The digital guest card, which you will receive automatically by email upon arrival, offers you many benefits for your holiday in Oberhof. These include free travel on the city bus, various discounts on admission fees and free participation in guided hikes.
The guest card is also part of the Thüringer Wald Card, which entitles you to many further benefits. You will find full details of all services in the activity guide. The guest card is valid from the day of arrival up to and including the day of departure. We would be happy to advise you at our reception.

With your guest card, you’ll receive a discount on standard admission prices.
An indoor and outdoor pool, as well as several whirlpools, invite you to take a dip. In summer, the large sunbathing lawn attracts sun-seekers. Children will love the slides and the dry play area. The highlight is the sauna world with different saunas and the sauna garden.

Half-board
If you have booked our half-board package, we look forward to welcoming you for dinner between 6 pm and 8 pm. We offer a daily-changing three-course menu with a choice of four main courses (Thuringian speciality, light cuisine, vegetarian or vegan), served alongside our popular starter and dessert buffet.
If you have not yet booked half-board, you can do so at any time at our reception. We always strive to create a varied menu for you. Should we ever fail to meet your tastes, please let us know. We will find a solution. You are also welcome to have a second helping of the dishes on offer if you are still hungry. Please also inform us if you have any allergies or intolerances. Please note, however, that we do not offer certified dietary meals.
Hiking & Ski Service
We are happy to prepare a packed lunch for you to take with you for € 9 per person. Please order this the evening before at reception or via your tablet in your room.
Our drying room, equipped with a heated cloakroom and boot dryers, is available for drying wet hiking and ski clothing.

Our restaurant, with its various dining areas, is open every day. The evening meal for our half-board guests is served daily from 6 pm to 8 pm. In summer, weather permitting, we open our sun terrace for you.
We also recommend the ‘Restaurant Bergvagabund’ at our Hotel Thüringenschanze. It offers a varied all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Thuringian specialities, classic meat and fish dishes, stone-baked pizza, vegetarian options and a selection of desserts, including soft drinks and hot beverages from the self-service counter.
